Can you explain why it has 21” max? Would think as long as the bar was long enough you could cut bigger log.
1 answer-
StrongwayExpert7· 3 years ago
Larger logs can be cut, but for safety reasons it is recommended to not cut logs that exceed 21 inches.

How does this guide work?
Is there a picture available showing how this is used and any other components needed to cut beams? Does the dark-colored clamp pivot on a shaft during the cut, or is a fixed angle held?
1 answer-
StrongwayExpert13· 7 years ago
Currently there is not a picture available showing how this is used. This beam cutter is designed to fit over a piece of 2”x4” lumber that is fastened to a log. Once a chainsaw is clamped to the beam cutter and placed on the 2x4 it will swivel. The cut is made with the chainsaw parallel with the log and tilting the tip into the log to the desired depth. Then the beam cutter is moved to make the next cut so that it over laps the previous cut. This is repeated for the full length of the 2x4.
