This Strongway 50-Ton Pneumatic Shop Press with Gauge and Winch is great for straightening, stamping, bending and pressing any component that is hard to handle. Polished inner cylinder walls extend the life of the hydraulic seals to minimize abrasion and wear, while the cylinder ram and pistons are also polished and chromed, guided by high-performance seals, wear rings and dust seals. Includes a dial gauge for dual metric/tons pressure readings. Equipped with a hand winch for easy adjustment of press bed height. Adjustable lower bolster. Some assembly required. Meets ASME ASP 2010 standards.

    1. This shop press can be operated by connecting it to an air compressor. If an air source is unavailable, it can also operate manually.

  3. What size compressor is required?

    1. Ensure the air source can dedicate 100-175 PSI to the jack. The air compressor needs to be capable of providing a minimum of 110 PSI to raise the rated load capacity.

  4. What thickness of concrete pad is needed to support this hammer?

    1. There is no required or recommended thickness for the concrete pad. Bolts can just be driven into the floor for anchoring this press.

  5. What are the dimensions of the feet/angle steel base? Is 1-1/2”, 2” angle steel?

    1. The angle steel measures 1.57" x 2.48". The feet are 31.5" long overall and 0.16" thick.
