This Strongway™ 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Panel utilizes crystalline solar cells to increase light absorption and improve efficiency. The trickle charger is ideal for charging/maintaining 12V batteries. All solar panels 10 Watts or greater require a charge controller (sold separately) to prevent over-charging of battery.

  2. Can this product be connected in series or parallel

    1. When wiring solar panels in parallel the voltage remains the same. You would use a 12 volt controller. If you use two 12 volt panels in a series you will have a total of 24 volts. This will require a 24 volt charge controller.

    you state easy connect wire. How long is the wire... what else do we need to hook up to the battery?

    1. The wiring included with this unit is approximately 16 feet in length. The wiring does include battery clamps, however a charge controller is required. Please see My Product Recommendations below for our charge controller options that work with this panel.
