Product Summary

The most powerful trimmers in the AK System lineup and have the equivalent power to the gas-powered FS 56 R C-E and they are also the only trimmers in the AK System with a gearbox, improving the balance of the trimmer by reducing the weight of the power head. These trimmers offer a virtually maintenance-free experience thanks to the brushless motor and a variable-speed trigger that allows users to optimize performance and runtimes depending on application to get the job done. Also, the user can set two different speed levels. Lower speeds for extended run time or less demanding applications and maximum speeds for maximum performance. The FSA 80 R trimmer features a new loop-handle design with quick release so you can easily adjust it to fit your size, no tools necessarily. The loop-handle features a rubberized grip for non-slip design and user comfort.

    1. This STIHL Homeowner Trimmer includes instructions for installing new nylon trimmer line into the AutoCut trimmer/mowing head. The head needs to be removed, and line needs to be manually inserted into each eyelet and winded down. Then the head needs to be securely reinstalled.
