  1. Hi, I know the saw comes with a picco micro saw chain Can the rapid super saw chain be used as the saw comes, or would I need to change the bar to get the rapid super saw chain to fit?. Part numbers please for both the bar and saw chains.

    1. The Stihl MS 180 chainsaw is not compatible with the Rapid Super chain. The replacement chain for the saw will be the Picco Super Chain model 63 PS 55 (model number 3617-005-0055). The chain can be purchased through a licensed Stihl dealer.

    1. The MS 180 can be used with 12" or 14″ to 16" chainsaw bars. This model would not be compatible with a 20" bar. Please view item #63872 for a model with a 20" bar.
