    1. First, remove the battery from the trimmer by unlocking it and sliding it out. Then connect the charger to a power outlet and slide the battery onto the charger until it clicks into place. The charger's LED will indicate the charging status (flashing green for charging, solid green when complete).

    1. Restringing the Stihl FSA 57 string trimmer is quite manageable with a bit of guidance. Here are the basic steps:
      1. Safety First: Remove the battery to ensure the trimmer is off.
      2. Remove the Spool: Push the tabs on the spool to take it out.
      3. Align the Arrows: Line up the arrows on the black knob with the white arrows on the spool.
      4. Insert the String: Feed the string through the holes and pull it out evenly.
      5. Wind the String: Turn the black knob to retract the string into the spool.
      6. Reassemble: Put the spool back into the trimmer and trim any excess string.
