STIHL AutoCut® EasySpool™ trimmer heads are easy loading cutting attachments that do not require any disassembly of the head. Made of durable and robust heavy-duty plastic, these trimmer heads are ideal for residential trimming applications. They are compatible with thick lines and feature improved TapAction™ line release while trimming by simply tapping the head on the ground. EasySpool™ allows users to reload the trimmer line easily without disassembling the head, resulting in a fast and hassle-free process.   3. Is this head wear you can place a 12 foot piece of line half way in the head and winde it up to load it

    1. To replace the trimmer line, you would insert the desired length of line into the trimmer head and then wind it around the line spool by turning the underside of the trimmer head.

    1. The AutoCut C 6‑2 installs by locking the shaft, removing the old head counter‑clockwise, and threading the new head clockwise until snug.

  5.  What head fits a mm55c weed eater head and string size?

    1. This trimmer head would not work for the MM 55 C. The model 4002 710 2169, item #64077 would fit that trimmer.

    1. The trimmer head would not be compatible with the older model F5 75 trimmers. It would be recommended to contact the manufacturer for replacement heads for that model.

  7. How to restring this thing? String head model no 4006 710 2126 auto cut c 6-2

    1. To restring the STIHL AutoCut C 6-2, first turn off and disconnect the trimmer, then align the arrows on the black ring with the white spool, thread one end of two 13-foot lengths of 2.0 or 2.4 mm line through the eyelets evenly, wind both ends in the direction of the arrows until about 5 inches protrude, trim any excess beyond the line limiter, and finally reconnect and run the trimmer briefly to ensure the line feeds correctly.

    1. The AutoCut C 6-2 trimmer head will work with an FSE 60. It will also work with the FS 38, FS 40, FS 50, FSA 60 R, FSA 86 R, FSE 71, and FSE 81.
