These AutoCut® Cutting heads with EasySpool™ and TapAction™ are made for Fast-Loading residential trimming. STIHL AutoCut® EasySpool™ trimmer heads are easy loading cutting attachments that do not require any disassembly of the head. Made of durable and robust heavy-duty plastic, these trimmer heads are ideal for residential trimming applications. They are compatible with thick lines and feature improved TapAction™ line release while trimming by simply tapping the head on the ground. EasySpool™ allows users to reload the trimmer line easily without disassembling the head, resulting in a fast and hassle-free process.   1. How much string will it hold

    1. The trimmer head will hold up to 19.6 feet of 0.095 inch trimmer line.

  2. Loading string

    1. On the trimmer head, you will need to line up the mark line on the head to the arrow. Thread the link into one hole and out the other side to the desired length. Push down on the center of the head and rotate clockwise. This will wind the line into the trimmer head. Stop when the trimmer line is equal on each side.

  3. can this string head relace the blade head on the FSA45. I don't like the blade head but the rest of the trimmer is fine.

    1. This unit cannot be used to replace the trimmer head on the Stihl FSA 45.

  4. Can u explain how to install trimmer head

    1. First remove the battery or disconnect the cable. Locate the hole in the gearbox, may be on the left side of the shaft. Insert a small screwdriver or allen wrench to lock the shaft in place. You may need to loosen and remove bolts or fasteners holding the hold head in placed. It threaded you would turn it clockwise to loosen and remove it. You can then insert the new trimmer head, turning it counterclockwise to tighten it on the shaft. Once the head is on, tighten it securely while the shaft is locked, the remove the screwdriver or allen wrench used to lock the shaft.

    1. The trimmer head is designed to fit the Stihl models FS 55, FS 56, FS 70, FS 80, FS 85, FS 89, FS 91, FS 94, FS 111, FS 120, FS 131, FS 240, FS 250, FS 260 R, FR 131, FR 410, FS-KM and FSA 130.
