With the STEELMAN 422112-B SAE and Metric Tread Depth Gauge, you’ll be able to easily identify how much tread depth is left on each tire. For ease of use, the tool is marked with both SAE and metric markings with SAE shown in 32nds of an inch and metric in millimeters. The high contrast yellow on black and white on black markings are easy to read, even in low light situations. The metric side is marked in yellow from 0mm to 25mm with 1mm increments while the SAE side of the gauge has white markings with a scale of 0/32in. to 32/32in. with increments of 1/32in. Thanks to its simple, springless design this tool is great for use checking deep set wheels where it isn't easy to get direct line of sight like sports cars with tight wheel wells, dualie trucks, and big rigs.
