  1. is this for car & truck engines?

    1. Hi,

      This product is an anti-freeze product meant to protect from freezing in potable water systems and engines which will be left dormant over the winter months. This can be used in cars or tucks however not meant to be ran continuously with this fluid in place.

    2. No, this Anti-Freeze is not for use in moving engines or motors, it is used for storage applications only.

  2. Is this Heat Exchange Boiler safe?

    1. This is not recommended for use with a boiler. We currently do not offer an anti-freeze for boilers.

    1. StarBright is not recommended for fire sprinkler systems.
      The anti-corrosion additive is a multi-metal chemical protective additive which does include steel.

    1. This is diluted. It contains <26 % Propylene glycol.

  7. Can this be used to ballast a tractor tire?

    I like its not toxic and wont freeze. What is the consistency and can I use it to ballast my tractor tires?

    1. This Starbrite Anti-freeze would have the same consistency as water. It would weigh 8.3 pounds per gallon. It can be used as ballast for tractor tires.

    1. This will work in a solar hot water heater as long as the temperature does not exceed 160 degrees.
