  1. how do you wire it up to 220 single phase. Do you need a compactor. The instructions are vague.

    1. This pump is a 220 volt, three-phase water pump. It would need to be hardwired. It would not need a compactor.

  2. Would this pump be able to pump the mud from the bottom of a pond?

    1. The trash pump can handle mud with the water. It would not be recommend to just pump mud only.
