    1. If your pumping into a storage tank, you can however wire in a float switch for on off control.

  4. So this pump is not intended to be used as a well pump that operates with a pressure switch  So it will only do continuous duty and not really work as a domestic shallow well pump ???

    1. The pump is used to operate a garden sprinkler, irrigation, and drawing water from ponds, streams and shallow wells. It would not use a pressure switch.

  6. can this pump be controled by a pressure switch to supply water for showers and other home needs it will used to lift water from our tankand lift will not be more than 7'

    1. The pump controller on the pump will protect against dry run, water hammer, frequent on/off, over voltage and overpressure/set pressure. The maximum suction is 26.2 feet.
