    For instance, if I find a compatible shaft-sized, 9"x40" auger, can I use it with this PHD?

    1. Other manufacturers augers can not be used with this post hole digger. I will list 2 compatible augers below.

  2. Can this be used on subcompact tractors?

    1. This heavy duty digger can be used on category 1 or category 2 tractor hitches. Category 1 would include tractors from 20 to 45 horse power and category 2 would include tractors from 40 to 100 horse power.
      Any tractor/subcompact tractor under 20 horse power would not be recommended.

  3. are there extensions available? If so How long are they? What is the max depth ( 24"dia.) that this can dig without an extension?
