Product Summary

K-T silver solder contains 98% tin, 2% silver and includes a separate tube of special flux. It is effective for joining silver, nickel alloys and copper. It should be used where a bright shiny finish or strength is important. Not recommended for plumbing repairs. Melts at 450 F with a diameter of .062in. Applications include eyeglasses, jewelry, and is effective on most silver, copper and nickel alloys. 8,000 PSI joint strength. Nontoxic.

    1. The solder kit could not be used on bandsaw blades. These blades would need a stronger higher temperature silver brazing.
