    1. The diameter of the muffler is 4 inches. The length of the muffler is 13.5 inches. The overall length with bracket is 14.5 inches. The distance from the center of the muffler to the center of the exhaust pipe will be 8 inches. The mounting flange on the pipe will be 0.27 inches thick.

    1. This muffler doesn't reduce or lower the noise output any more than a Briggs stock muffler.

  4. how much room to install bolts to right side exhaust

    placing the #MUF0626 muffler on the V twin Briggs standing behind the mower can you install the bolts to the exhaust on the right standing behind it or do you have to do it from the side?

    1. The amount of room is going to depend on the application. The muffler can be installed from behind or to the side again depending on the application and the ability of the installer.

  6. How far does this sit away from motor?

    1. The muffler will sit a total of 10 inches away from the motor. This is when measured from the mounting flange to the furthest side of the muffler. The pipes measure 4 inches and the diameter of the actual muffler is 6 inches.
