  1. how much does it add to the footprint?

    how much width does this add to the footprint?
    specifically, for the dimensions of the non-wheel sides of the corner brackets? I'm trying to put this on a tablesaw and still fit it through a doorway. the table top fits if I take the outfeed extension off. I tried a different mobile base, but it added ~8" to the footprint (4" on each side) and couldn't fit, and I had to return it.

    1. I positioned the base so the wheels would protrude out the side, rather than the front where you stand most often. Fixed and swivel casters are interchangeable, so I put them where I could swivel band saw away from wall when needed for extra space. I added a board between base of saw and the saw itself for both storage and act kind of like a toe kick on cabinets to avoid hitting my toes on caster mounting flanges. I like the wheels on outside of mass for greater stability. See my review for picture of saw.

    2. This mobile base would adjust from 18 1/2" x 24 1/2" to 28 1/2" x 33 1/2" and can hold varying size equipment. Depending on the size of the equipment, it may not actually increase the size of the footprint at all while increasing the mobility.
