    1. We're happy to assist. This does not have a 1/4" spindle. It comes with 1/2", 3/4", and 1" spindles. You can purchase G1026 to use 1/4" and 1/2" shank router bits instead.

    1. We appreciate your question. Yes, it falls within the parameters. The maximum cutter diameter for this machine is 5-1/2", and the maximum cutter height is 2". You would need to start with the 1" spindle and use T-bushings with a 1" inside diameter and a 1-1/4" outside diameter, such as the tall W1147 or the short W1151.

    1. Thanks for your question, Tim. Our shaper includes the following interchangeable spindles:1/2", 3/4", and 1". The machine does not include cutters. The shaper cutters can be purchased directly on our website our by calling our Customer Service team.

    1. Thank you for your question. The dust port on the Shop Fox W1702 - Shop Fox 3 HP Shaper is situated on the tube to which the primary fence (part # PX1702070) is affixed. By affixing a 3" hose, you can effectively direct a substantial portion of debris away from the workpiece. Furthermore, some customers opt to introduce an additional collection hose positioned directly above the table at the front, as a supplementary measure.

  9. Is the W1702 capable of chucking up 1/2" router bits?
