  1. I mounted my Dust Collector on the outside of my shop. Can I use it without a bag? The collector is not exposed to the elements.

    1. Thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend running any dust collector without the collection bag. With only 537 CFM, using a long hose would result in very little to no suction or airflow at the end due to static pressure loss over distance. These motors are designed for balance with the air suction from the impeller and the correct back-pressure from the filter bag. Without the bag, the motor will overwork to find balance, leading to overheating and potential failure.
