Can this lathe be fastened to a work bench? Has there been any overheating problems with it?
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 2 years ago
It is designed to be mounted to a work bench. Some work benches may require additional reinforcement to support the weight of the machine and work piece materials. The minimum workspace requirements are 36" L x 11.5" H. Do not press the workpiece to firmly with the tailstock or the bearings will bind and overheat.

Other than the price and the color, what is the difference between this lathe and the Grizzly T32536?
1 answerOriginally posted on grizzly.com-
Grizzly Customer Service· 2 years ago
Thank you for your question, John. While most of the machine specifications are identical, there are a few key differences. The Shop Fox lathe is white, manufactured by Shop Fox, and includes a two-year warranty. In contrast, the Grizzly lathe has a one-year warranty. For a detailed comparison, please refer to the "Comparison Chart" located at the bottom of our Home Page, or find it on the item page under the "Specifications & Comparisons" tab.
