Is there any wood in this product or is the feed table steel?

My biggest gripe is the lack of power the conveyor motor has. No matter how light of pass I take off or chain tension they conveyor will randomly stops feeding material through sander causing sanding gouges in the surface of the material.

Can this be used to remove paint or dross from 14 gage sheet metal. If so what type of sanding paper could be used.

This should only be used on wood. It is not compatible with sheet metal.
