  1. In the description it states "Auto Start Capable" does it have the auto start controller built in, or is additional hardware needed? what are the options on this model and how does auto start work. The application need is to back-up a solar power system

    1. Yes, the DGK25F has auto start capabilities. The left side of the unit from the rear there are 2 doors, the top has a silver latch and behind it is the buss, below that is another door, lift that up and you will see a contact. By attaching a signal wire to the contactor with a switch attached, the circuit will close and will auto-start.
