click through to buying anchors as a separate kit. They have pictures there. These are heavy duty anchors for sure. You can buy longer ones if you are in really loose soil (like sand) but the standard ones that come with these garages should be adequate for virtually everything else.

ratcheting tie downs
are there any ratcheting tie downs included or do they need to be purchased separately. Also-it comes with 6 tie downs but are more recommended for this size?

This shelter does include ratchets for tensioning. Manufacturer recommendations state a 30 inch anchor for every 4 feet of length. Extra anchors can be purchased for increased stability. Please see My Product Recommendations below for the anchors.
