    Is there a metal section of the rack which runs from end to end and which the cover fits over?
    Does the cover slide up and down on the end piece so you can remove firewood from the top of the stack?
    How high is the actual wood being stored, not including the base of the rack?

    1. The cover for this item adjust to fit split wood up to 24in.L. and hold 3/5 cord with the cover running the length of the item fitting on the metal ends of the unit. The cover can be lifted and adjusted to retrieve wood from the rack as well and the total dimensions for this unit are as follows: 15.5" W x 11'.11" x 46.6" from the ground to the top of the side rails. With no listing from the bottom of the unit to the top of the rails.
