  1. How are these anchors driven into the soil?

    Do you have to have a special piece of equipment to drive these into the soil?

    1. No. I just used a large screwdriver to turn them into the ground.

    2. No. I slightly bent the lower auger (spiral) down to dig better with a hammer and used a 5 pound mini sledge to tap the auger to get it started. Then used a pump jack handle to twist the augers into the ground. My ground was full of rocks and buried stumps and they still went in without too much fuss.

    3. No. I used a 1/2 inch breaker bar from my socket set.

    4. There is no specific tool to assist in driving the anchors into the soil. The anchors are hand operated however you are able to use a screwdriver or some sort of tool to help twist the anchor into the dirt.

  2. what is the holding capacity for each anchor? I'm looking for one that can hold 1500 lbs. (min)

    1. The diameter of the rod is 12mm (0.5”). The overall width at the bottom with the auger is 76.2mm (3”).

    1. The "pull pounds" will not be written or listed anywhere on the package these auger anchors come in.
