    1. This Scott aerator requires 2,438 watts while running. You can estimate your specific energy costs by multiplying the wattage by the number of hours you will be running the aerator each day to determine the daily power consumption.

  3. IS THE PUMP GFI PROTECTED

    MY PANEL IS 350 FT FROM THE POND, WHAT GAUGE OF WIRE SHOULD I USE?

    1. The Scott Aerator does require a GFI outlet. You should use a 10 gauge wire or better.

  4. How deep will this draw the water?

    My pond is only about 1/2 acre but it is very deep (about 20 feet max.) I'm worried that without drawing the deep water, the pond won't be adequately aerated.

    1. This 1-1/2 HP Scott Display Aerator can pull water from up to 16 feet deep, and would do a fine job aerating your pond.
