  1. Does this have a pivot mounting system available? I would like to be able to change the direction of the angle. Probably rotating 45* each direction from 0. Also how close can this be to wood mounting surface?

    1. Schwank offers two angled mounting kits for the STP-TA05/08 series: the JS-0507-BB-K10 (30°) and the JS-0507-BC-K10 (45°). Both kits allow you to rotate the heater to a fixed angle and are available directly from the manufacturer.

      For the STP-TA08-10-BN model, a clearance of 5 inches above combustibles is required. When mounted at an angle of up to 45°, it requires a clearance of 60 inches behind and 54 inches below the unit. Additionally, you must maintain 24 inches of clearance at the burner end and 48 inches at the tube end.
