  1. After fully charged, how long will the jump starter stay charged enough to jump start a car?   I.e. Can I charge it and keep it in my car for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc.. and “be covered”?

    1. The Schumacher Electric SL1582 has an internal lithium battery that holds a charge for six months to a year with minimal discharge. Extreme temperatures can affect this. Schumacher Electric advises checking the charge every three months and recharging if it drops below 85% to maintain battery health and longevity.
