  2. Diesel?

    i have purchased several of these... diesel (yellow) and water (blue). Now that we have a Watermaker on the boat... I would like to use the blue ones for diesel. Can I do this?

    1. Hello - These cans are all made of the same material, but because the color of the the cans is representative of the type of fuel it holds (red for gasoline, yellow for diesel, blue for kerosene), as a precautionary measure to avoid confusion or fuel mix-up, we don't recommend the cans be used for anything other than the intended fuel.

    2. The cans are color coded for safety purposes. It is not recommended to put diesel in the blue can because someone may mistake it for water.

  7. What is the Inside Diameter of the Fill Opening on this Tank?

    I want to use this take as a portable water source for a device that requires me to put a hose into the fill throat of this water tank. What is the inside diameter measurement of the fill opening? (Not the outside measurement...I need to know how large of a hose and end filter can fit down into the tank??
