Product Summary

This 18ft. Multifunction Tower is comprised of three 6ft. Multifunction Units, a 3-4 Guardrail System, and a set of four Three High Outriggers. Eighteen feet indicates this towers’ maximum allowable standing height, but any time one is standing at 72in. or above guardrails and outriggers are required. Each 6’ unit contains four wheels, providing a total of twelve. The three high outriggers provide the wide base dimensions needed to keep a tower stable with a platform height at 18ft.

  1. What’s the width of this?

    1. With the outriggers parallel with the frame, the width will be 75 inches. When the outriggers are out to the farthest point to the side, the overall width will be approximately 7.5 feet. The outriggers are adjustable to move at multiple degrees for maximum support as needed.

  2. How easy it it to assemble/disassemble? We have limited space and need to put it somewhere when not in use.

    1. The scaffold would be fairly easy to assemble and disassemble. There are several pieces to it.

  3. Can you switch out the wheels for adjustable feet?

    1. The casters could be switched out to adjustable feet. The adjustable feet would be available through the manufacturer.

    1. To get to the highest platform, the user would climb the ladder on the outside of the scaffold.

  5. Can the platform height be set to 15 feet. I see the maximum height is 18 feet but not sure if it can be adjusted to 15ft.

    1. The platform height can be set at 6 feet, 12 feet and 18 feet.

  6. Are the outriggers rotatable? For example, can one side be rotated to 90 degrees to be able to push scaffold up against a wall?

    1. The outriggers can be rotated for this application. Make sure it is used in compliance with OSHA regulations, following the height to width ratio.

    1. The platform is 65" L x 27" W. It is not listed in square footage.

  8. Does each of the platforms have pass through hatches that allows a user to climb the scaffold inside the profile of the scaffold?

    1. This tower does not come standard with any platforms containing the pass-through hatches. The platforms with pass-through hatches are optional and available through the manufacturer.

  9. Are the out riggers height adjustable for a sloped surface such as a yard.

    1. The outriggers are not height adjustable. Do not use if the surface is not firm and level.
