Romotech's Sandstone Egress Well is an elegant, low maintenance way to add natural light, ventilation, and an emergency escape to any basement living space. Built from sturdy dual-walled polyethylene, the well provides the look and feel of real stone and will never rust, erode, or collapse. It's also UV protected to maintain its color for years to come. Built-in steps make it easy to climb out of the well in case of emergency. The egress well is easy to install and never needs maintenance. It's designed to fit 3 - 5ft. slider or casement windows and meets IRC code requirements for below grade living areas. A polycarbonate cover (part number 82123108) is also available to prevent children, small animals, rain water, and debris from accidentally falling into the well.
