Product Summary

Romo Tech Square Storage Tanks are a convenient and portable storage solution for non-flammable liquids such as potable water and agricultural and industrial chemicals. Produced from pure, medium density polyethylene, the tanks have UV-inhibiting stabilizers so you can store liquids outdoors for longer periods of time. They have a maximum contact operating temperature of 110°F. The translucent tanks have a sleek design featuring visible gallon and liter markings for quickly assessing the amount of liquid inside, plus molded-in channels for secure tie down using saddle straps. They have a built-in bulkhead fitting for easy siphoning and an easy-tighten cap with a wide opening for quick fill-ups.

  1. Can I attach a garden hose

    Is this tank ready to accept a garden hose from the drain or do I need some thing else

    1. A 3/4" male pipe thread to a male 3/4" garden hose adapter would be needed to connect a garden hose to the bottom outlet. At this time Northern Tool would not carry that adapter.

    2. There are many options here. You can connect a 3/4" MNPT to the tank with the other end being a 3/4" GFHT. This will allow you to connect your garden hose. You can also find quick connect fittings to do the same thing.

    1. No, the water sloshes around but does not seem to be a problem

    1. Yes Ant potable water tank should be BPS free.

  4. how do i connect a hose to the tank. It has a plastic fitting. Was it supposed to come with a shutoff valve? Do i need to get plastic fitting instead of metal? .75" Do i get them from northern tool?

    1. The tank would have a 3/4" NPT outlet. To connect to a garden hose you would need an adapter to go from 3/4" NPT to a 3/4" GPH fitting. It would not come with a shutoff valve. Currently, we do not carry this fitting.

    1. The Romotech 50-gallon tank cannot be directly linked.
