Product Summary

Ridged Slats Vertical Privacy Slats are single-wall, flat-angular, extrusion-formulated using High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) combined with additives to ensure color and functionality for years. These slats are economical and easy to install — no tools required. They add approximately 85% privacy to regular 2in. diamond, 11-gauge chain link fabric. (Diamond is measured from inside to inside of each parallel side.) These slats also work with 9- or 11 1/2-gauge chain link fabric. Each slat is 3.5in. shorter than the actual height of the fence.

    1. These privacy slats are installed by sliding each slat vertically through the chain-link fence mesh and locking it into the included bottom channel that secures the slats in place.

    1. You could use the 2" slats in a 3" mesh fence, but it would not give you the same level of privacy. They are designed for use in fences with a 2" to 2.375" diamond mesh.
