Perfect set for any demanding job, these tools ensure reliable and quality performance. The octagonal shape is easier to grip when striking with a hammer and also prevents the tool from rolling away when placed on a surface. The material core design prevents mushrooming of the striking head. Tools are tempered to a hardness of 54 to 58 HRC - not just at the tip but throughout the entire length of the tool. Compiles with DIN 7255 standard. Cold Chisels - 9R 360 202 KUS (3/8in. x 8in.) and 9R 361 202 KUS (1/2in. x 8). Chisel features a hand ground sharpened edge designed to cut and shear cold metal. Striking head is turned and chamfered. Center Punches - 9R 431 120 KUS (3/16in. x 4 3/4in.) and 9R 434 150 KUS (15/64in. x 6in.). For exact marking of a drill point and guidance of the drill bit. Center punches are used to create permanent marks or locations when disassembling engine parts. Pin Punches - 9R 453 102 KUS (7/64in. x 6in.) and 9R 453 103 KUS (11/64in. x 6in.). Pin punches are used to install and drive pins out of holes. All edges are rounded to prevent damage to the workpiece.
