  1. Why the air pressure gauge? What is the air for and how does it work.

    1. The pressure gauge is used to control the pump pressure. The heater pump pressure setting will be approximately 4.2 PSI (tolerance +/- 10%). There is an adjustment screw to the right of the gauge. To increase the pressure you will turn the screw to the right. To decrease the pressure you will turn to the left. If the flame is protruding outside the heater, you will need to decrease the pressure. If the heater has smoke or ignition issues, you will want to increase the pressure.
