Does the rubber inside the axle go end to end? Can they be cut down?
I need a heavy duty but narrow axle (60" frame width) and would like to use torsion axles.

The manufacturer does not recommend altering the product and it would void all warranties. Cutting down the item to fit may cause weak spots and results could be undesirable.
