  1. What size are threads on the hose?

    None of my quick release fittings work the female threads on them are smaller.

    1. 3/8" It will require a 3/8 X 1/4 female adapter for attaching to 1/4 male fittings plus a 1/4 nipple for 1/4 female fittings..

  2. would this hose be suitable for spraying herbicides ?

    1. It's an air hose, I have no idea how pesticides or other chemicles would affect the material used in the hose. You're better off buying something specified for such use.

    2. This ReelWorks hose reel is for air only, any herbicides or chemicals would degrade the hose and seals. The chemical hose reel that is available would be part number 779257, this is used on the Skid sprayer item 268173 (see below). Call Parts dept. at 1-800-657-0516 for price.

  3. Outdoor use or indoor only?

    1. I think the reel would be fine outside if mostly protected from rain. Not sure about internal components and how rust resistant it would be. Mine is mounted inside for use with air compressor.

    1. The supply hose is about 2 feet long and cannot be adjusted.

    Hybrid polyner? Is that a plastic or rubber material? Thank You

    1. Believe it is rubber. It definitely is not PVC. It is similar in feel to a rubber hose I bought that was made by GoodYear. However, the hose included with the reel doesn't seem to pick up the dirt like the GoodYear rubber one does. It remains pliable in very cold temps (10 degrees F anyway).

    2. Hybrid polymer is combining the best qualities of both PVC and rubber materials.

  7. Does hose get stiff in cold in 10 20 degree?

    1. This hose will start to stiffen around 32 degrees; however the hose reel is capable of working down to 14 degrees.

    1. It would not be recommended to add more than 50' of hose to this reel.

    1. This hose reel has a max PSI rating of 300. The temperature rating for the hose is 14-149 degrees Fahrenheit. If operating within these guidelines it will operate safely.
