This new line of Quincy air compressors using dedicated ‘MADE IN THE USA’ Baldor single phase 208 volt motors reduces failures due to undervoltage and reduces field failures where 230 volt machines are used in 208 volt power applications.  They eliminate the need for expensive buck boosters to address these low voltage environments.  These low voltage environments are common in such geographic markets as Texas, Illinois, New York, parts of Minnesota, California, Washington, Georgia, and many parts of the southeast.
