  1. Multiple units can be connected for wider sections using the Quick Dam Flood Gate Stanchion Set, Item #60942. How are the connectors installed into the ground and what are the requirements?

    1. To install the connector into the ground, you will need an 8" diameter x 10" deep hole with cement to secure the connector in place.

  2. how much wind can tolerate? ...thinking in storm surge...

    1. The manufacturer has not tested these flood gates for a wind rating. If locked in place properly they would withstand hurricane force winds.

  3. Where can I purchase the white insert that's underneath the floodgate shown in the picture

    1. That is part of the door frame itself in the picture, there is not an insert for underneath it.

  4. I have a steel frame door that measures 30 inches exactly, will the 30 to 35 fit?

    1. This is designed to fit 30" to 35" door frames. If your door measures exactly 30", this should fit without issue.

  7. doors open out ? how would that work ?

    1. This will work for doors opening in either direction. If the door opens out, you will need a minimum distance of 3" between the flood gate and the door to access the jack and bolts with a ratchet. Please view the installation manual for additional info. located on the product page.
