    1. You would use pre-cut 18-inch segments of 0.155-inch heavy-duty line (OEM part #622001R). The trimmer head typically has 4 to 8ports, usually divided into center loops and outer side holes. Take one segment of the trimmer line and feed it through the center hole (or loop). Pull it through so that the two ends of the string are perfectly even in length. Take the two individual ends of the string and feed them through the corresponding left and right side holes on the trimmer head. Repeat this process for the remaining holes on the head until all desired line segments are installed.

    1. The PTG1022H uses pre‑cut 0.155‑inch trimmer line segments; OEM replacement pieces are 18 inches long, and the replacement line can be purchased through the manufacturer under SKU 622001R.
