    2. Not a good plan.

      #1 You are risking your life.

      #2 Even if properly grounded and protected with a GFCI, you're still putting the heater in danger of damage from errant splashing. The quartz tubes used are extremely thermal stress fragile when hot and will crack or shatter if hit with water not unlike a hot lightbulb or your pyrex in the kitchen but even more so.

      For bathroom use I would highly recommend an oil filled radiant heater (the ones shaped like old style steams radiators). Additionally, I would always plug it into a properly grounded GFCI outlet that I have personally tested to be sure it works!

  2. Can I utilize an extension cord to reach my shed, about 100' ?

    1. I would not recommend it.

    1. The heater can be placed on carpet. Please be cautious of the turnover possibilities when placing the heater on carpet.

  4. Can this heater be used in a room where oxygen is used?

    1. An Oxygen machine typically requires 5' or more from open flame or other heat sources such as a space heater. However, it is recommended to check with the manufacturer for your Oxygen machine for their requirements.

    1. This heater has 2 heat settings, 400 and 800 watts. It will not have a thermostat.
