  1. Are these strong enough for a tractor trailer?

    1. Yes. Cable is heavier than the crossover cables on the truck. clamp springs are strong and wont loose contact. jumped in -15 from 2 battery's on diesel pickup to 4 on semi and they didn't even get warm.

  2. Can anyone tell me about the cable coating (poly), is this better than PCV or TPR ? How is its flexibility in cold weather ?

    1. Feels like a rubber coating to me. Yes they are as flexible as 1 gauge cable can be. can be rolled up and put back in case without difficulty.

    3. The jacket on these cables is better than pvc or other stiffer types. These cables are extremely flexible and easy to handle.

    5. The poly coating is very flexible for ease of use and stay flexible in cold weather. The cable coating is less likely to be torn or cut than the PVC or TPR and is resistant to oil, gas and acids.

  4. Are these 100% copper cables or copper clad aluminum (CCA)?

    The packaging is a bit confusing - the sticker on the outside of the case says 900 CCA. I'm guessing that is Cold Cranking Amps. Please clarify iff these are 100% copper cables and clamps. Thanks for the help.

    1. 1 gauge is more heavy duty than 4 gauge and a higher CCA is better.
