  1. Type of plug

    Is the 50 amp plug on this generator a 50 amp rv plug

    1. The 120 volt twist-lock plug is 30 amps. Even that is not compatible with most RV power cords that have the 2 angled prongs and the U-shaped ground prong. You will need an adapter cable to convert your RV's cord to the 30 amp twist-lock plug.

    2. The generator has standard industrial twistlock receptacles, not RV specific - the 120/240V 30A is NEMA L14-30 and the 120V 30A is NEMA L5-30.

      Adapters to the RV standard straight-blade NEMA RV-30 (120V 30A) and NEMA 14-50 (120/240V 50A, also used on electric ranges) are available premade, or you can easily make your own to your exact needs with a short chunk of 10-3 or 10-4 SO Cord and the right connectors.
