  8. Other than the oil that is mixed with the gas does this unit require any other. When I purchased this unit the sales person stated it took 10W40 type oil

    1. The gas/oil ratio is 50:1 (2.6 ounces per gallon). It is recommended to use a quality brand of 2 cycle oil. You will need to add oil to the foam filter with 30 or 40 weight motor oil.

    1. This is designed for light weeding and mixing soil in garden bed rows. This would not be used for breaking clay earth.
