  1. When I connect this parallel between two of these generators will the 30 amp outlet become 30 amps per leg or is it still maximum 30 amps out of one leg. Question being I need 220 for my RV. With the parallel will I be able to get 30 amps per leg

    1. When two generators are connected in parallel, each generator contributes to the total load, but the rating of a single outlet does not automatically double. The 30 A outlet on one generator is still limited to 30 A on that leg. Parallel connection allows you to draw more total current across the combined system, but each individual outlet or leg cannot exceed its rated 30 A.

    1. We do not recommend modifying this parallel cable in any way.

  3. When connecting the 2 Inverter generators together, where is the power outlet that provides the 7400 watts of rated power?

    1. The parallel cable increases the total output of the generators, but does not provide an alternative plug option. The plugs on the generator are still the only ones available to be used, but with the parallel cable you can pull the maximum number of amps from those original plugs. The 7400 watts of power is available across all the outlets, not condensed into one outlet.

    1. This parallel cable is designed for the 4000 watt - 5000 watt Powerhorse generators. Item 89778 is the parallel cable kit for the 2000 watt - 2300 watt Powerhorse generators.
