Can be fueled either by gasoline or propane. Runs safer with CO shutdown function. Great for home, camping, tailgating, outdoor recreation and entertaining. The parallel-ready design allows connecting 2 Powerhorse units (5,000 Watts) for up to 2x the power. Not for sale in California.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE GENERATOR I NEED?

HOW TO CALCULATE
Running watts needed: Total running watts of ALL items to be powered by the generator.
Starting watts needed: Add highest SINGLE starting watt to total running watts needed above.

EXAMPLE

  1. Calculate running watts
    Furnace 600 + Lamp 100 + Microwave 1000 + Refrigerator 700 = Total running watts 2400
  2. Calculate starting watts
    Total running wattage 2400 + Refrigerator 2200 = Total starting watts 2400

QUICK REFERENCE WATTAGE

1200-1800 watts examples: power tools, coffee maker, heat stove. 2800-3800 watts examples: refrigerator, electric table saw, clothes washer. 5500-12000 watts examples: air compressor, electric furnance, clothes dryer.

    1. The generator does not include a 50 amp receptacle. The receptacles on the generator are (1) NEMA 5-20R 120V-20A, (1) NEMA TT-30R 120V outlets and (2) USB ports.

    1. There is no maximum restriction on propane tank size, provided the pressure is maintained between 116.03 and 174.05 PSI (0.8–1.2 MPa).

    1. It is not recommended to run this generator indoors. While it is equipped to monitor carbon monoxide, it still requires adequate ventilation to operate safely and efficiently.
