    3. This snow blower has a gas engine that has electric start with an AC cord and pull cord back-up.

  2. Is the electric start battery or plug in?

    1. It has a 110 volt AC starter. A three prong power cord is required and plugs into the machine, then the wall socket.
      Press the red starter button to activate the starter.
      Once running, unplug from the wall socket first, then the machine and store the cord for next use.

    3. The electric start can be used by plugging an extension cord into the snow thrower and plugging the other end into a three-hole grounded 110 volt AC receptacle.

    I've purchased this machine - do you have to mix oil and gas?

    1. This machine has a four cycle engine, just like an automobile.
      It runs on straight gasoline with no mixing required.
      You should check the oil level using the dipstick prior to every use.
