  1. Does this unit have a colling fan?

    1. No, but vents design allows it to run very cool.

    2. I don't think so and it is quite loud when operating, but my Dad's old one makes the same noise. It does have slits in the sheetmetal for venting.

  2. Can this be used instead of a battery to test a small 12 volt motor that draws no more than 17 amps?
