  1. Will this hold Big and Small block engines?

    Are the four engine bolt holds ajustable?

    1. yes, they are. bolts attach the the arms to the stand's head, and they can move quite a bit to allow for about 180 degrees of adjustment for each arm and 3 to 4 inches of movement along the stand's head axis.

  3. Can this stand be used to hold a transmission

    I am looking for a stand to attach transmissions to so we can work on transmissions. Will this stand work? Do you have other suggestions?

    1. This engine stand cannot be used to hold a transmission. We offer some transmission jacks that support the weight from the bottom, but nothing that would hold on end.

  4. Dimensions of the engine stand

    What's the height of the stand from the casters to the centerline of the axis of rotation?

    What's the overall length? Fold up length?

    1. All measurements given on this engine stand are approximate due to it being assembled. From the center of caster to the center line of the axis rotation is 29 5/8". The overall length is 32 1/4", the folded up length is 15", the front rectangular tube is 27" L x 2" W x 3 3/16" H and the rear tube width and height are the same, but the length is 33".

  6. What is the width of the front legs and the rear legs?

    I need to know if it will roll between my engine hoist without any problems, unlike the one i currently have.

    1. The width of the front legs is listed as 27 inches and 32.5 inches for the width of the back legs.

    We are needing to get a motor stand home, but only have a car to put it in. Needing to know if this will fit in the trunk.
