  1. How many BTU's per hour does this unit use?

    1. For natural gas, 1/2 a load the BTU is 182,000 and for a full load the BTU is 245,000. For liquid propane, the BTU for 1/2 a load is 155,000 and for a full load the BTU is 272,500.

  2. better description of transfer switch? breaker spaces? indoor/outdoor?

    1. The transfer switch does not feature any pre-wired circuits. The switch is designed to be installed prior to the home’s main panel to provide whole-house protection for your backup power needs. The transfer switch has an aluminum NEMA/UL type 3 indoor/outdoor enclosure with electrostatically applied and baked power paint that provides additional corrosion protection.
