  1. Are those holes on the top sides or all bolts and nuts?

    1. The top side holes are designed to attach a bolt on grate kit (model number IQ-A) that can be purchased through the manufacturer directly.

  2. Does it rust? The nuts and bolts are subject to rusting?

    1. The fireplace has a high-heat black enamel coating to help prevent rust. The nuts and bolts may rust over time.

  3. Item says 23-26" width

    How do you make it smaller or larger? The side dimensions for my pit are 26" on each side. I want to make sure this fits and doesn't fall in, making it useless.

    1. The fire pit insert is not adjustable. It has interior dimensions of 22-3/4" x 22-3/4" and exterior flange dimensions of 27-1/8" x 27-1/8". Because of the base it would require a fire pit with a minimum of 23" square and because of the flange, it could cover up to 26" square.

  4. What are the inside dimensions of the square, NOT including the flange?

    The dimensions listed in the product information PDF is confusing. It actually lists TWO different inside dimensions for each product...
